      COS 2021 Women’s Day Campaign

      For 2021 Women’s Day Campaign, COS collaborated with the top-notch female photographer LUO YANG and 5 talented women in celebrating the modernity of women through an all-encompassing wardrobe: a collection that transforms easily, catering to the versatile needs of present-day women.

      As the idea of traditional femininity became outdate, COS encourages the separation of this concept with the constitution of beauty in women. Instead of listening to outside voices of who they‘should be’, women are ready to make their own lifestyle and career choices through the self-realization of their potentials. Self-actualization is powerful; independent is beautiful.

      It is a stage to interpret life. The stage of life has no limits.

      The 2021 COS women capsule collection features neutral tones, silhouette reshaping, and deconstructed design. The collection highlights women's gentleness and strength, providing more options for women to demonstrate their unique self.

      Luo Yang is famous for capturing people's emotions with her feminine acumen and intuition.

      Women are important protagonists in her works.

      In 2008, Luo Yang began her 10-years-long photographic project "GIRLS", documenting Chinese women from the 80s to the 90s.

      She was nominated and received the BBC 100 women this year.

      Throughout the shooting, Luo not only utilized her poetic lens, but was also inspired by the powerful self-actualization of modern women. She will continue to “get back in the creative mood” after collaborating with COS, as well as taking a step further down the endless road of fashion.
